Every switch I teach was first lived, not studied.
29 years old. 29 weeks pregnant. Stage 3 cancer.
My husband Luis was in military basic training. They had just taken his phone. The oncologist gave me six months to live and told me I needed chemotherapy immediately. Every doctor told me I was being irresponsible. One called me a terrible mother.
I chose no chemo.
A mastectomy without reconstruction, while pregnant, with no guarantee my son would survive the surgery. The finances came together in a way I can only call a miracle. That is still a miracle I talk about today.
When I woke up, I heard three words.
"It has been consumed."
That was God. Not a thought. Not hope. A voice. That moment gave me the conviction to stand against every doctor who told me to choose fear.
Fifteen years later, I am still switching.
Cancer-free. Over 70 pounds lighter. A rebuilt marriage. Three sons I homeschool. A business built and rebuilt. Still building. Still switching, and still teaching every woman I meet how to do the same.
So here is the thing.
I am not here because I have it all figured out. I am here because I know what it costs to keep pretending you do. I am a business mentor and transformation coach, a cancer survivor, and a mom of three teenage sons.
